I have been tutoring on my own for over a decade now, but I am excited to finally be able to join my sister on a more official basis! Together, we can help your student achieve success in all subjects as well as help challenge them to reach their full potential!
I am a very dedicated person, and I especially apply that dedication to tutoring. I spend many hours figuring out how a student learns and what subjects they usually excel in to find the best possible plan for success. I always strive for the moment when everything clicks into place and we are able to watch your student’s confidence improve! Like Megan, I also believe tutoring should be a fun and enjoyable experience where students can ask questions without judgement in an environment based on mutual respect.
Through my own experiences with multiple research labs and many years of various linguistic classes, I have learned my own approaches to subjects like grammar and science that are very adaptive to how different students learn. I have been using these methods for over a decade not only to help students get the best possible grades, but also to help them fully understand the material in a way that makes sense to them.
Literature, language, and science can be confusing because of a lot of arbitrary and disconnected rules. I can show your child how everything is connected and help them to find the best way for them to learn now and in the future.
