Private 1-on-1 Tutoring
How Online Tutoring Works:
We tutor online using Zoom and Bitpaper, a virtual collaborative whiteboard where where tutor and student both can write on the screen. Before each tutoring lesson, we ask students to send a text or email with pictures of any worksheets/problems that they are struggling with or want to go over during the lesson. We can then paste these into Bitpaper’s whiteboard so that it is ready to go come lesson time. We also pull similar problems or materials around a particular concept to help fill gaps and provide students with extra practice. Before the lesson start time, we will send out a link to the Zoom meeting so you know where and how to join us online. Once we are on the Zoom call, we share the screen so students can see the Bitpaper virtual whiteboard that we will have set up ahead of time. After the lesson we always share the link to the Bitpaper whiteboard so students can access it at any later time to go back and review what we went over during the lesson.

I have learned that not every student learns the same way. Math can be difficult to grasp and at times teachers teach Math only one way. With Math it is all about the way you approach the problem and the methods you use to solve it. I can teach your child the tricks of the trade and together we can watch your child succeed.
What Megan Tutors:
I can help students with all math related subjects from K-12 to University level Calculus. I used to teach high school math so my main focus is high school (with a specialty in AP Calculus) however, over the years I have helped students of all ages better understand math and excel in their math courses. As a distinguished Latin scholar, I love showing students how the dead language is still alive and well rooted in the english language and science vocabulary. My unique ways of attacking the reading, writing, essay, and science sections of the SAT and ACT has helped dozens of students achieve a score higher than they even imagined possible. What Conor Tutors:
My specialties are AP Statistics, Science, Engineering and Math. Math and Science can be abstract subjects to many students. I hear a lot that some people just aren't math and science people. But I would disagree; I believe those people simply haven't found the right teacher. People would be amazed what they are capable of doing in an academic setting with a nudge in the right direction.
